Morris Memorial Basketball 2019-2020

The Morris Memorial Basketball Program is a program for girls and boys in grades 1-8 that reside in the Chatham Central School District and the surrounding townships. This non-sectarian program, formerly known as the St. James CYO program , uses basketball as a vehicle for enhancing players' positive social skills and self esteem. Youth will learn basic basketball skills with a strong focus on sportsmanship and team spirit. Volunteer coaches will lead skill-building drills and organize fun games. All players will have equal playing time, regardless of skill.

 The Morris Memorial Basketball Program is a program for girls and boys in grades 1-8 that reside in the Chatham School Distrct and the surrounding townships.  Formerly known as the St. James CYO program, this non-sectarian program uses basketball as a vehicle for enhancing players' social skills and self esteem.  Youth will learn basic basketball skills with a strong focus on sportsmanship and team spirit.   All players will have equal playing time, regardless of skill.  Divisions 2-4 practice for one hour during the week.

 

Boys and Girls in 3rd grade - 8th grade will play games on Saturday mornings at the Chatham Middle School and practice once a week. Players in 1st and 2nd grade will play games on Saturday afternoons at the Morris Memorial building on Park Row, Chatham. 

 

Games begin Saturday, 12/7/2019 and end Saturday, 2/15/2019.

Registration fee is $70.00 for the first player from each family and $60.00 for each additional player.

Registration deadline is  11/19/19.  Any registrations received after 11/19/19 will incur a $15.00 late fee.

Players will receive a Jersey on opening day.
